The WorkSafe Instructor Crossover Programme is designed to recognise the existing qualifications and experience of first aid instructors already delivering training for other organisations or providers.

Flexibility in approach to working with instructors who have delivered for other providers is important at WorkSafe and we will work with you to ensure you approval with WorkSafe is both time and cost efficient.

Our simple application process is strictly by submission of a portfolio to evidence your existing qualifications and experience as a first aid trainer and instructor.  Following verification we will provide you a personalised action plan of your route to approval which will include an initial moderation visit and registration with WorkSafe.

The Instructor Crossover programme will provide you with all the resources to begin delivering WorkSafe training programmes up to Emergency First Aid at Work level and including the derivatives of this programme that we currently offer.

Approval to deliver WorkSafe 3 day First Aid at Work is via the FAW instructor upgrade process. We do not currently APL the FAW Instructor approval for quality purposes.

Once registered and initial approval is given you will be required to notify WorkSafe of the first six courses you deliver.  During one of these programmes a WorkSafe Instructor Assessor will attend to moderate your delivery.
