WorkSafe's key achievements year by year

2025

We added personalised branding to our student certificates so our training providers get visual representation on certificates!  Following requests from some of our training providers we listened to their requests and developed our instructor portal further to allow customised certificates. 2024

WorkSafe launch a brand new Instructor Portal and brand new mobile app.  This significant investment has improved instructor access to register courses and students as well as the ability to access instructor resources such as lesson plans and presentations specific to their qualification.

Our brand new mobile app enables students to obtain emergency first aid advice post course when faced with an emergency as well as the ability to access their certificate of training.

2023

Launch of new digital student packs and student web zone. WorkSafe’s digital teaching options now provide a fast and economical solution for teaching first aid. As well as saving money on postage costs, the digital packs are also reducing our impact on the environment.

2022

WorkSafe move to new ground floor premises at Dunns Close Nuneaton. Our bright spacious office with adjoining training room offers access for all.

2020

The WorkSafe App is released for Apple and Android devices. This facilitates WorkSafe students to access their certificate from their mobile device as well as have access to a wealth of first aid and emergency information.

2019

Launch of our first online first aid course in response to demand from our early years’ settings. Our learning portal offers the blended 12 hour OFSTED recognised paediatric first aid course.

2017

Manual Handling Awareness Instructor course is added to our range of instructor programmes. Our video production team produce moving and handling videos to add to our instructor kits.

2016

Launch of the Fire Safety Instructor Course. New fire instructors are able to use our bespoke emission free burning trays to practice live fire fighting as part of the course.

2014

WorkSafe move to their own premises in Alliance Close, Nuneaton. A large training room and office space become the home of the WorkSafe team.

2013

News from the Health & Safety Executive that major changes are planned for the first aid industry mean plans are needed to ensure WorkSafe can evolve with the changes.

Natalie joins WorkSafe as an experienced teacher and work begins on writing and launching the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

2010

Instructor courses are running at the Eliot Business Park in Nuneaton. This centre for small businesses enabled WorkSafe to establish their own training space and ended the days of renting different training rooms.

2007

In true entrepreneurial style, WorkSafe’s beginnings were in a converted garage!

Founder Chris Parsons began developing the train the trainer model by producing a teaching kit that gave instructors everything they needed to teach first aid courses.

We were granted our first Certificate of Approval from the Health & Safety Executive and WorkSafe had begun.
