Meet the WorkSafe Team
We’re really proud of our team members at WorkSafe. Instructors and admin support alike, everyone contributes to our success and all are dedicated to ensuring everyone who teaches a WorkSafe training programme has the support and materials required to teach effectively.
Natalie joined WorkSafe Training Systems after a career in the education sector as a teacher.
Working alongside experts from the emergency services, Natalie and the team developed interactive teaching programmes with comprehensive lesson plans.
Natalie is a qualified Internal Quality Assurer and monitors WorkSafe’s programmes to ensure that they meet current guidelines.
Natalie is also the Centre Co-ordinator for SFJ Awards who approve WorkSafe’s successful L3 Award in Education & training.
Marion has more than 20 years’ experience in administration and now manages the WorkSafe office.
Marion coordinates our verification visits and manages the instructor database.
Marion also holds a catering qualification and is responsible for WorkSafe’s legendary cakes.
Pat joined WorkSafe in 2016 after retiring from her career in finance as a bank manager.
Pat coordinates customer accounts and manages our credit control.
Out of work Pat runs a small holding with her sheep and chickens keeping her busy with lambing and egg collection.
Trish comes to us from an administration background.
Her keen interest in media has revolutionised WorkSafe’s social media presence.
Trish manages all of our communication networks and our online learning.
Trish also studies nutrition, providing healthy recipes and snacks for us to try.
Malcolm has been teaching first aid for more than fifteen years, having previously worked as a paramedic with the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Malcolm is WorkSafe’s lead instructor and is responsible for running our bespoke train the trainer programmes.
Malcolm travels nationally to visit our wide network of instructors to ensure of the highest delivery standards. Malcolm is also a published author of several books and an excellent artist.
Caroline has had an extensive career within the aviation industry devising and delivering cabin crew and pilot training programmes for a major British airline.
She has established a successful freelance training business delivering first aid courses through WorkSafe since 2010.
Caroline is now part of our verification team and also delivers our Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Volunteering as a Community First Responder, this role enables Caroline to offer training to new responders as well as members of the local community.
Mark manages our Fire Instructor training and our emission free firefighting equipment.
He works as an active firefighter so ensures we teach to the correct standards, bringing a wealth of knowledge from his role in the Fire Service.
Mark is qualified at FREC Level 4 in pre-hospital care so plays a key role in our team of WorkSafe Verifiers; travelling nationally to quality assure first aid teaching standards. As an ex-serviceman Mark and his family are keen supporters of the British Legion and help to run the Poppy Appeal in their local area each year.
