At WorkSafe we’re constantly striving to provide the best online course management and resource system for our instructors. Our most recent improvements are:
- Course specific menus within the Student Zone to make accessing digital content easier.
- Ability to view self-assessment and skills grid results within the Instructor Zone.
- Introduction of a new dashboard for annual instructor renewal process.
New Student Zone Menu
Following feedback from instructors we’ve added syllabus specific menus to the WorkSafe Student Zone page. These menus contain only the subjects within the course syllabus, making navigation easier and quicker for your learners. We’ve still included links to the all subjects should you wish to refer to other areas.
Digital Self-Assessment Results
If you use our digital self-assessment and skills grids you can now access the results from the course page within the Instructor Zone.
As soon as a self-assessment quiz or skills grid is completed the results are sent to the Instructor Zone for you to view, along with a summary of each candidate’s score.
Each course notification will generate a unique course ID which enables all assessment materials to link directly to the course.

New Instructor Dashboard Page
To make the annual instructor renewal process more streamlined and transparent, the new instructor dashboard provides you with clear information on your qualification expiry and renewal dates. A handy counter will also show the number of students registered since last renewal.
Instructor renewal is an annual process and you will receive reminders via email when due. Within 30 days of expiry the Instructor Renewal Status will change on the dashboard to show your personal renewal options.
