WorkSafe will be making a donation to Acorns Children’s Hospice this year instead of sending Christmas Cards. Acorns provide care for babies, children and young people who have life limiting or life-threatening conditions. They offer a network of specialist palliative nursing care and support for local families. Our new certificate of attendance offers an inclusive approach to recognising student’s first aid skills and knowledge. WorkSafe offer a variety of workplace first aid courses, but also want to recognise students who are unable to complete the practical elements of these courses. The Health and Safety Executive require students to complete practical skills unassisted to achieve a workplace first aid certificate.
